David Cleverley is a highly respected litigator, recognized for his strategic thinking and powerful advocacy. His sharp insights and guidance have been instrumental in achieving success in numerous complex litigation cases for our clients.


David is committed to securing favourable agreements for his clients. He possesses exceptional negotiation skills and is adept at finding creative solutions for unusual legal conundrums. However, he is also a fearless litigator who is prepared to fight tirelessly to protect his clients' rights.


David's amiable nature belies his formidable courtroom presence. He is known for his unpredictable tactics and his ability to thrive in uncertain situations, making him a formidable opponent. He is a skilled cross-examiner and a persuasive advocate who is able to connect with judges and juries.


David has identified successful questions of law which were accepted by the Federal Court of Australia,  has contributed to the Judicial Commission material and he has been summoned to appear before the NSW Parliament to assist them with decision making. Prior to becoming a lawyer, he held different positions in the private and public sector which assists him understand client circumstances.  


Outside of legal practice, David enjoys working on cars, listening to history lectures and many other pursuits. While the practice of law governs his day to day, he also thinks its constructive turn his mind at other things to keep law in perspective. 


David's clients come from a vast array of social, economic and cultural backgrounds which he is very proud of. 



Outside of his legal practice, David is a devoted father and a passionate animal lover. He is also a keen student of World War II history.
